A History of Women

This documentary recounts the history of women’s emancipation and women’s movements through the personal fates of women from different generations in the 20th and 21st century. In very personal interviews, five younger and five older women from Luxembourg relate their dreams and hopes, their private and political struggles, their disappointments and achievements. The film tackles subjects common to all parts of society: youth, the passage of time, societal conflicts, family transmission.
