Jumbo

Jeanne, sensitive and introvert, working in an amusement park, falls in love with the new carousel, Jumbo. Her mother, slut and vulgar, expels her from home. How the romantic strange love story ends up? How do we react to a completely different personality ? Noémie Merlant (Lumiere Prize with "Portrait of a Lady on Fire") plays Jeanne with beautiful talent. The ideal carousel was brought and filmed in Belgium. Screened at the Sundance and the Berlin International Film Festivals in 2020.
