Online

A selection of the films shown at the venues in Tokyo and Kyoto will also be available online (n.b. there are different dates for the online streaming, the screenings in Kyoto, and the screenings in Tokyo). Eight additional films will be available only online (with English subtitles, no Japanese).

To watch the films online, you need to create an account with Festival Scope.

Then click the link in the individual page for the film you would like to watch, or go to the EU Film Days online streaming page to make a selection.

The films are available between 28 May (from 17:00 JST) and 25 June. Films may be watched up to 5 days after selecting them. Once you start watching a film, you will have 30 hours to finish.

Note:
* The films are only available from within Japan (no access from outside Japan).
* Up to 400 views per film (after the limit is reached, the film will be shown as "unavailable")
